Stamping with aMac October 2022 Craft Retreat
We had our very first three night retreat!
There was a choice of two or three nights and my crafters loved having an extra day night and day to enjoy!
Thanks so much to all of the wonderful crafters who were able to join us! We had a very creative and fun filled event where we shared ideas, hugs, fun, food, drinks and laughter.
To be honest, I’m exhausted but it was worth every minute to create a place for friends to connect and forget about the other ‘stuff’ that we have happening in life.
We had great weather other than the hail storm… but thank God no cars were damaged!
This was a very much needed, and welcome, weekend of fun for many at beautiful Bornhoffen PCYC in the Gold Coast hinterland.

This Retreat we fundraised for You Have a Friend.
This is a local charity who are 100% not for profit, supporting the homeless, marginalised and single parents/children in the Coolangatta/Tweed district.
We raised an amazing total of $800
The prizes were donated by Stampin’ Up!, Jackie McGee, Jan Howly, Belinda Seaton, Robyn Cavuoto, Marnie P and myself.
Apologies if I missed someone and thank you so much to all of the contributors of the prizes!
There were so many prizes to choose from!!!
I also collected donation cards which I’ll drop of to their Op Shop and they can either donate them or sell them to raise more funds.
My amazing Dazzling Divas Team member Jan Howley, generously created some projects to add to the fundraiser and raised $164, which is included in the tally above.

Charity Day Workshop – August 2022
We held our inaugural Dazzling Divas and Creative Gems Charity Day on the weekend.
What a day of crafty fun we had!
I joined forces with my friend and fellow Demonstrator Laura Stranks. Together with our teams we held a wonderful event with 42 in attendance.
We were fundraising for Heart Kids and had Tiffany, Claude and their gorgeous baby Zara with us. Tiffany shared their miraculous story with us.
We raised an amazing $860 which has been donated to Tiffany’s Heart Kids – Two Feet and a Heart Beat fundraising campaign.
The raffle prizes were kindly donated by Stampin’ Up and we had a few extra donations from our lovely crafters.
Thank you all so much for your generosity!
We made nine projects in total using the Stampin’ Up! Bottle Happiness bundle.
There was lots of inky fingers at the end of the day.
There were bonus prizes given away throughout the day too!
Laura and Jackie supplied a beautiful display for us for the day.
We had morning tea and snacks prepared for us by my wonderful friend and fellow demonstrator Maree.
The urn was constantly topped up for us and there was plenty to enjoy.

2022 Wine and Cheese Fundraiser | Catalogue Launch
We had a wonderful Wine and Cheese new catalogue launch and Fund-raiser for Full Stop Australia (stop domestic violence).

Stamping with aMac March 2022 Craft Retreat
We were so fortunate to be able to go ahead with our March Stamping with aMac Craft Retreat.
After everything that nature has been dishing out lately, everyone was SO excited that we were able to attend! It was a very much needed, and welcome, weekend of fun at Bornhoffen PCYC in the Gold Coast hinterland.

My car was packed to the max and here’s a bit of the hall set up. I bring all of my card stock and inks as well as a big range of retired product for sale.
Here’s our lovely Goodie bag and the contents worth $100! Everyone received a bonus Sale-a-Bration item of their choice.

This Retreat we fundraised for Mater Chicks in Pink. The funds go directly to women affected by breast cancer for things like wigs, mastectomy bras and counselling as well as other services.
I was part of the Fun Run which was changed to a virtual event due to the flooding this year. I received online donations for the retreat fundraiser prior to the retreat as well as donations for our raffle on the day.
We raised an amazing total of $1475 this was including $500 worth of online donations – $975 was raised at the retreat!
The prizes were donated by Stampin’ Up!, Jackie McGee, Belinda Seaton, Robyn Cavuoto, Toni Weir, Marnie P and myself.

Wine and Cheese Fundraiser | New Mini Catalogue and SAB Launch
Thank so much to the wonderful ladies who were able to attend my event… and Keith was on his best behaviour all afternoon.
Everyone received a little goodie bag on arrival with a lovely selection of things to play with.
The bag was decorated with the ‘Awesome Otters’, which is a Sale-A-Bration freebie, and I stamped and coloured it with our Stampin’ Blends.
The little strip on the bottom of the tag was cut from the ‘Simply Marbelous‘ DSP which is also free with a $90 purchase.
We had a wonderful afternoon crafting, chatting, eating, drinking and fundraising!
Our raffle raised an incredible $200 for the Mater ‘Chicks in Pink’ Breast Cancer Research and support. Thank you so much for your generous donations for a wonderful cause.
We made three projects using products from the brand new mini catalogue.
Amazing Silhouettes Bundle
This card was made using the Amazing Silhouettes Bundle.
The ‘Distinktive’ stamp makes it easy to stamp a beautiful image! There’s so many possibilities for this bundle.
I love the shadow effect behind the greeting too. It looks fantastic with a contrasting colour! The iridescent rhinestones add the finishing touch of bling.
Hello Ladybug Bundle
This card was made using the Hello Ladybug Bundle. I chose Pumpkin Pie as the background instead of the conventional red for the ladybug.
The stamp and matching punch make it so easy to create super cute cards in no time. I love the texture added with the new Hive 3D embossing folder.
Here’s a little tip, check that your stamp is inked up properly before stamping, watch it ‘soak’ up the ink and when stamping let the paper ‘soak’up all of the ink too. This will give you a bolder image.
Ranunculus Romance Bundle
We use the gorgeous Ranunculus Romance Bundle for this card. I love these background stamps! The whole set is so pretty. The new Brushed Brass Butterflies embellishments are perfect for adding a finishing touch!
I chose Crumbcake for the card base and Pool Party as the second layer and Very Vanilla for the greeting strip.
I added texture by roughening up the edges and by using ribbon and dimensionals.

I had a wonderful display showcasing many new products!
