Stamping with aMac March 2023 Craft Retreat
We just had our second three night retreat!
Thanks so much to all of the fabulous crafters who were able to join us! We had a very creative and fun filled event where we shared ideas, hugs, fun, food, drinks and laughter.
Here’s what we got up to…
There’s always lots to do behind the scenes to make the weekend special for my crafters.
Here’s a few photos of our place cards, goodie bag decorations and pillow gift decorations (which I like to spoil my attendees with).
It’s lovely to know that it’s very much appreciated too.
Bornhoffen is in such a peaceful location in the Numinbah Valley.
Everyone loves the lush green fields and the beauty of the location. It’s so pretty to look at and soothing for the soul.
In the early morning, I love taking a bit of time out to enjoy a quiet coffee, listening to the birds and observing the wildlife.
The mist over the valley is so pretty too.
Here’s a few pics of the room set up before everyone came.
We have the display and Raffle prizes in one corner and I have my supplies and shop set up in another part of the room.
We fundraised an incredible $1000 for Bornhoffen improvements and will get new flooring in all the cabins!!! Our Crafters are extremely generous and everyone who comes and stays will enjoy the improvements we’ve contributed to.
This is thanks to our very generous raffles ticket purchases and additional donations after the raffle was drawn! Thank you to all of you who contributed extra raffle prizes too! Thanks Jackie, Robyn, Karen, Toni and myself.
Since we’ve been coming to Bornhoffen, our Crafting Retreats have contributed to new fly/security screens for Hobwee Hall, which we use, and thanks to a very generous donation from Belinda S, who solely contributed new fly/security screens for all of the doors on the hall!
This has made our stay so much more comfortable and pleasant!

What a lovely group of crafters we had at our retreat!
So many different crafts and so much talent. I love that everyone was willing to share ideas and other bits and pieces.
There was lots of catching up, laughter, jokes, silliness, a few drinks shared and even a few tears reminiscing about our friend Tina who is sadly no longer with us. We really miss your talent, big smile and laughter. RIP 💔 🫶
We have lots of card makers and scrap bookers who attend but ALL types of crafters are welcome to join us!
Our wonderful Chef Donna even made a special Birthday cake for Helen who chose to celebrate her birthday with us!
We even ‘sign sang’ Happy Birthday to Helen.

I’m so lucky to have a wonderful group of ladies who support each other in so many ways. It’s lovely to be able to spend a few days together sharing and having a fun time.

There is plenty to eat and lots of variety, you certainly won’t go home hungry!
I would also like to thank our wonderful Chef Donna for looking after us so well and catering for our special dietary requirements.

I would like to say big THANK YOU to everyone from the bottom of my heart; for coming, for your help and co-operation over the weekend.
I’ve had lots of feedback saying that this was of one the best retreats yet!
It was a truly lovely weekend and I want to thank you all for your continuing support. Even the weather was kind to us other than the down pour at the very end!
I look forward to start planning for the next one soon!
