I held my first craft retreat last weekend and I just wanted to share some photos of the fabulous time we had, the beautiful scenery and some projects that were created.
How beautiful are the surrounds at Bornhoffen? There are several decks to enjoy the stunning scenery…
This is a bit of a look behind the scenes to show you some of the prep that went into the retreat…
I arrived early to set the room up…
Everyone was so excited to get away for the weekend – the smiles say it all.
I managed to take photos of a few projects that were created over the weekend. That’s a lot of very talented crafters!!
Our main fundraiser was a raffle to raise money for Buy-a-Bale. I am thrilled to say we raised an amazing $610.
A direct deposit was made so no money would be lost to PayPal or CC fees. Please see the receipt below. Thanks again for supporting this amazing cause!
Thank you so much (also) to everyone who came to our retreat this weekend and generously donated over 200L of drinking water to Deb and Sharee to take back to Stanthorpe!
They were extremely grateful
The third amazing contribution were cards that were donated and made over the weekend. As you may or may not know, I volunteer at Ronald McDonald House in Brisbane and take a bunch of ready made cards for the kid’s families to use.
This collection will hopefully stock the box for several months to come.

Thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your generosity in supporting these three causes.
My heart is full 💜
I was so touched to receive this beautiful gift and gorgeous card from everyone who attended my retreat on the weekend! Thanks again to everyone who came. I’m so glad you enjoyed the weekend.
I am so happy with my first retreat and am looking forward to planning many more.
For my tip of the day I have gone back to basics for all those new to paper crafting. We all need to start somewhere.
He’s an overview to familiarize you with our Stampin’ Up! Snail Adhesive. I hope you find this helpful. Please feel free to leave me a comment or share it .
