May Card Class
Here are some of the male Birthday cards we made at my last card class. We used several different stamp sets and a range of different techniques making these cards.
For this card we used Crumb Cake Cardstock for the base, Early Espresso as the background and stamped in Crumb Cake and Midnight Muse ink on the Whisper White Cardstock. The stamps used were Sassy Salutations and Gorgeous Grunge.
For this card we used Sahara Sand as the card base, the background was Early Espresso which we ran through a textured embossing folder. The steam train was stamped using the wonderful Traveler stamp set using Early Espresso ink.
This card was made using Very Vanilla card base. This single layered card used a technique whereby we stamped the same image using three different colours (River Rock, Old Olive and Midnight Muse). By adding ‘Happy’ using the Hello You thinlit dies we added some character to the card. The stampsets used were Work of Art, Traveler and the greeting was from Celebrate Today.
This final simple but effective card was made using Smoky Slate as the card base with Lucky Limeade as a contrast which we ran through a texture embossing folder. Some retired DSP (designer series paper) was used as the background and the Itty Bitty Banner stamp set and matching framelit for the greeting.
