Alaskan Achievers Blog Hop September 2018 – Holiday Catalogue

Welcome to our Alaska Achievers Blog hop for September

This is my last Alaskan Achievers Blog Hop that I have the privilege of taking part in. I’ve been humbled to participate in this along with many Demonstrators from all around the globe.

Once again, a huge thank you to all of my team and customers who helped me achieve this incredible reward. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you. #alaskasu2018 #stampinup30

This month we are highlighting Stampin’ Up! new Holiday Catalogue  product.

I’ve had fun playing this weekend and creating samples for my upcoming Holiday Catalogue Launch Fundraiser. I’ll share a few with you today.

I created this cute set of cards using the Festive Farmhouse Suite on page 12 in your new catalogue. The Festive Farmhouse Cardstock Pack co-ordinates beautifully with this suite keeping the colours simple by just using Very Vanilla, Old Olive and Cherry Cobbler with a touch of silver on the accents.

The lovely versatile Festive Farmhouse DSP and Elements are the feature on my cards.  I cased a catalogue sample for inspiration and changed it up to make it my own.

I love stitching on cards but usually find it too much trouble. I had the time and I’m glad I got the sewing machine out as this added a cute touch to the cards too.

I used the gorgeous new Striped Burlap Trim for as an accent through the centre of the card and I enjoyed layering. The little sprigs are from the new Sprig Punch.

I separated the Cherry Cobbler twine into a single strand to add a little extra texture.

I had my first ever play with shimmer paint and I am in love! I put a few drops into some Isocol alcohol solution using my spritzer and just sprayed a fine mist over the finished cards to give it that little bit of sparkle.

If you’d like to learn how to make cards like these and have some creative fun, come to my classes, I would love for you to join us!

Alaskan Achievers Blog Hop August 2018 – Holiday Catalogue and Incentive Trip highlights

Welcome to our Alaska Achievers Blog hop for August!

Once again I have the privilege of taking part in this fabulous Blog Hop. Demonstrators from all around the globe have earned the incredible Stampin’ Up!® incentive cruise to Alaska this year including myself!

We had an incredible trip and Alaska was absolutely stunning! We had a wonderful time on the cruise. I met Sara and Rich and got to share my story with them as well as so many amazing fellow demonstrators and some SU superstars too! It was so wonderful to meet in person those who I created a FB bond with. I’ve come away with a number of new friends. That’s another thing that I love so much about SU. I couldn’t believe how much we were spoilt by Stampin’ Up! I received pillow gifts every night! I’ll share some with you later.

Once again, thanks so much to all of my wonderful customers and amazing team for helping me to experience this incredible adventure. #alaskasu2018 #stampinup30

This month we are highlighting Stampin’ Up! new Holiday Catalogue  products and Incentive trip highlights.

I created this simple card with some of my favourite brand new products from the holiday catalogue. Some of these were pillow gifts we received on the trip!

I love the new corrugated 3D textured embossing folder! It’s so versatile for backgrounds. I used the framelit from the Dashing Deer bundle and finished it off with some metallic pearls.

The Joyous Noel Specialty DSP is so pretty! I used it as my focal point to showcase it. The Merry Merlot matches the gorgeous new ribbon which has a copper sheen and is reversible.

I used the pine tree from the ‘All is Bright paper clips’ as a cute embellishment.

One of my highlights from the trip was meeting and spending time with our amazing extended Stampin’ Up! family.

Here’s a few pics I’d love to share… I love that I made a few new friends too.

Everyone loves gifts and oh boy, were we spoilt!!!

Stampin’ Up! is such a generous company and I’m humbled to be a part of it. Here’s a collection of my pillow gifts. Thank you Stampin’ Up! #alaskasu2018

    Merry Christmas 2017

Thank you very much for your support throughout the last year.

I would like to take this opportunity to wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas. May your Christmas be blessed with wonderful time spent with your family and friends.

May the New Year be filled with peace, love, happiness, good health and prosperity.

I would like to introduce the new addition to our family, Keith, who is our little ball of fun and mischief. He keeps us entertained for hours and loves helping me in the craft room too! He’s only 11 weeks young, full of beans and we love him to bits. I hope you like his portrait. You’re welcome to come and meet him if you’re in the neigbourhood 🙂

Wishing you all the very best and looking forward to sharing fun and craft with you again in 2018!

From my family to yours, have a Merry Crafty Christmas.
